In order to comply with some of the requirements of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), professional landlords will need to have their offices inspected by a company contracted through the credit Bureau. Landlords who do not wish to obtain credit reports or who are not willing to have their office inspected should open a Private Landlord Membership.

That can be a very scary prospect since you really don’t know anything about the people that you are moving into your rental property. We strive to take some of the worry out of this process by helping you find qualified tenants.
Our Private Landlord Memberships are designed for property owners who only have a few rental properties. The advantage to our Private Landlord Membership is that it doesn’t require that you have your office inspected to receive credit information but it still complies with the requirements in the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Our Private Landlords fill out a ‘criteria form’ for their rental properties. Our staff will then access the credit file on your behalf, and use your assigned credit criteria to assess the applicant. We will then let you know if your applicant passed or failed each of your criteria. Members who wish to receive a copy of the full credit report will need to upgrade to a Professional Landlord Membership.
